This is a limited run Lotus Evora 400 variant called the Blue & Orange edition, and what’s special about this one is that the colour scheme has been chosen by car enthusiasts, the selection accomplished through a social media poll via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Like the limited Evora 400 Hethel Edition announced in May, this one helps to mark the 50th anniversary since the founding of the Lotus Factory and Headquarters in Hethel. The Blue & Orange also highlights the automaker’s bespoke Exclusive programme, which offers buyers a unique alternative to an off-the-shelf car. The programme covers all aspects of customisation, from colour coding through to race car preparation.
For this one, car fans were asked to pick their preference from a selection of carefully curated designs, penned by Lotus’ design team. The social media poll on Lotus’ Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages saw modern interpretations of classic automotive colour combinations, as well as some established Lotus liveries. The automaker says that thousand of votes were cast.
The winning Blue & Orange selection recalls the famous racing colour scheme first seen in the 1960s, giving the Evora 400 a retro look. The scheme consists of a special paint colour and orange/white decal stripes, with black forged wheels and red brake calipers completing the car’s distinctive look. Inside, the edition features a complementary palette, with black leather upholstery set against orange contrast stitching.
The automaker says that the car is expected to sell out quickly, pretty much a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it affair – it plans to build only 10 of these special livery Evora 400s.

Proton car color.
Actually the blue color of this Evora resembles Ferrari’s Blu Corsa.
Evora for 620k, similar price to a Cayenne, both brandnew.
Go and look at the interior.
Cayenne is for rich soccer moms. Evora is for those young at heart
I rather buy a Proton. You know, both share the same side mirrors
U made the right choice
And color.
And same color.
Can we choose the price as well?
The Gulf colour scheme (or looks close to it) gives it a racier look.
