UMW Toyota (UMWT) today expanded its network with the launch of a new 3S (sales, service and spare parts) dealership in Pekan Assam Jawa, Kuala Selangor. The new dealership is operated by Target Orion Corporation Sdn Bhd, which has been an authorised Toyota dealer for the past 12 years.
The two-storey building sits on a 1.8-acre site, and features a showroom area capable of displaying up to five Toyota models. To cater to the aftersales needs of customers, the service centre has ten service bays staffed by trained professionals, with the ability to handle up to 17 vehicles daily.
Customers will be able to relax in the waiting lounge which comes with several amenities while waiting for their Toyota vehicles to be serviced. The new 3S dealership joins UMW Toyota’s network of nearly 100 authorised Toyota outlets nationwide.
“We are always appreciative of the efforts of our authorised dealers to enhance their services in order to provide the best sales and aftersales services to Toyota customers. As a long-time business partner with UMWT, Target Orion Corporation’s investment also assures us that the company views its business as a long-term activity and will therefore keep growing it,” said Akio Takeyama, Deputy Chairman of UMWT.
President of UMWT, Datuk Ismet Suki Datuk Ismet, said with the increasing number of Toyota customers in the coastal area of Selangor, it is important that they be catered to with comprehensive aftersales facilities. Where in the past, they had to go to Klang to visit an authorised Toyota service centre, the new 3S facility at Pekan Assam Jawa which will be much more convenient.
