VIDEO: Jaguar F-Pace R Sport SUV walk-around tour

Here we have a walk-around video of the new Jaguar F-Pace, the brand’s very first SUV model. Just launched here in Malaysia with a price of RM598,800, the F-Pace is sold here with just one engine option – a 3.0 litre supercharged V6 with 340 PS and 450 Nm of torque. Zero to 100 km/h is done in 5.8 seconds – not your typical SUV, then.

Well, a Jaguar SUV is never going to be a typical SUV. This one is rather different to the norm, and not at all related to the models from the other side of the Jaguar Land Rover company. It has more in common with the XE, XF and F-Type rather then the Range Rovers. It’s an SUV meant to stick to the roads, not go off it.

Shown here is the higher-spec F-Pace R Sport model, plus a few optional extras. It’s priced at RM658,800 (before options), which makes it a direct competitor to the similarly-powered Porsche Macan S (from RM610k, also before options). As you’ll see in the video above, the Jaguar is obviously the larger, more practical SUV.

    Volvo > all

XC90 T8 cheaper, safer, most comfortable, way more fuel efficient, cheaper road tax, NO excise duty.

If you hate to pay tax to govt, get the Volvo.

I think Volvo XC90 is still best buy, more luxurious interior, about the same acceleration, cheaper(road tax and car price, lower FC too).
~It’s just sad that beige interior is no longer available.

Sadly when the dealership is Sime Darby, aftersales is gonna suck big time.

Hopefully other authorised dealerships can do better than SDAC.

Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia is a collaboration of 2 companies – namely Sime Darby Auto Connexion (which used to handle Land Rover/ Range Rover) and Sisma Auto (Jaguar Malaysia)

the reason for combining was Jaguar and Land Rover is owned by Tata Motors for almost 10 years, prior to that by Ford group. in almost every other countries in the world both Jaguar and LR / RR are sold and serviced under one roof. only in Malaysia it was split due to Jaguar Malaysia was on its own since the 1980s (after Wearne brothers left Malaysia together with the name of Austin, Rover and British Leyland)

Yes good job to the PT crew, but do you notice how Hafriz nods his head with every statement he makes. It would make a great drinking game, take a shot when he nods!
