Honda Civic Type R Black Edition launched – only 100

To commemorate the end of Civic Type R production at Honda’s factory in Swindon, Honda’s United Kingdom division has allotted the last 100 cars that will come off its production line to become Black Edition models.

Dubbed as a “true collector’s item,” the special Civic Type Rs sport a few unique design cues to make them stand out from the crowd. On the exterior, the rear spoiler now gets red-painted rear wing end plates, while the mainly black interior gets several red accents as well.

Under the bonnet, the CTR retains its K20C1 2.0 litre turbocharged four-pot with 310 PS at 6,500 rpm and 400 Nm at 2,500 rpm, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The hot hatch will make the century sprint in 5.7 seconds, and hit a top speed of 270 km/h.

The CTR Black Edition is priced based on the existing GT model sold in the UK at 32,300 pounds (RM175,278), so all the enhancements are free of charge. According to the company, the Swindon plant is preparing to produce the next version of the Civic Type R, slated for later this year.

Stupid Ah Beng overrated and slow car with outdated stone age gearbox compared to its rivals like Mercedes A45 AMG, Ford Focus RS,Volkswagen Golf R, Renault Sport Megane 275 Cup-S, Peugeot 308 GTI and Subaru Impreza WRX STI.
Why is this outdated scrap metal so overly loved to death by Malaysian car enthusiasts? Stupid AF:)
As if we have no other cars to buy but the big A** H brand:)

Bro, later some recon Ah Bengs and Ah Liens might somehow or rather smuggle or import them into Malaysia. 10-15 units at least.
Take a long stare at the huge number of Hondas driven by our Malaysian drivers around Malaysia.
Many of them converting their beloved stock cars into Type Rs with red H badges everywhere.
This unit will be another best seller:) No offence

Let them be blind and stupid like you said.
To hell with them and Hondass, outdated and hideous AF cars like the Vezel sold here in Japan.
As a Japanese Malaysian citizen, here in Tokyo nobody gives a S**t about Hondass like in Malaysia where it is Overrated and stupid fans saying Hondass are the best. ‘Bagero’ Honda freaks.
