Lexus’ take on the high-performance sedan/coupe has only recently provided a comparable answer to the likes of Mercedes-AMG, M GmbH, and Audi Sport, with models such as the GS F and the RC F. The big one, the LS, has thus far only received a dress-up in the form of the LS 500 F Sport, but now it appears there could be more in store for the big Japanese limousine.
Here, the LS mule wears the LS 500h frontal treatment, but with big cutouts, possibly for additional cooling or engine intake flow. Around the back, an additional spoiler lip sits atop the bootlid, and our spy photographers reported that this LS mule was “louder than usual.”
A luxurious range-topper won’t be trading creature comforts for lap times. The faster LS can be expected to retain most, if not all of the standard model’s conveniences and features, such as the Lexus Safety System+ and the Advanced Safety Package, as well as remote touch infotainment interface and 24-inch heads-up display.
It remains to be seen whether or not the upcoming, higher-performance LS with adopt the same 5.0 litre V8 as used in the RC F and GS F. Judging from its lack of disguise, the high-performance Lexus LS isn’t far from its debut, and could well do so at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

Well why the hell not? When you need to get to the board room pronto but don’t want to break your back, or crease your expensive linen suit (they look so nice, but impractically so). Your choice of transport is here. Of course, you could get there faster in a helicopter, but whats the fun in that.
