Perodua version of Daihatsu DN F-Sedan rendered

Perodua version of Daihatsu DN F-Sedan rendered

Yesterday’s stunning Daihatsu DN F-Sedan Concept certainly caught the attention of readers, with many wagging their tongues at the prospect of a Perodua version. Well, our resident Photoshop wizard Theophilus Chin has given us his vision of what such a car will look like, and it looks like it could be a real winner.

A few changes have been made to give the show car a more production-ready look – the full-LED headlights have been replaced by regular projectors, and the Honda-aping front grille has been swapped for one that closely resembles the one on the Myvi. Also added are wing mirrors of a proper size, larger door handles in the usual places (the F-Sedan has suicide doors) and B- and C-pillars.

Other than that, the F-Sedan’s stylish, low-slung four-door coupé looks translate well to the Perodua version, and we’re sure that buyers over here would jump at the chance of owning a “Bezza Coupé.” We’re still not sure if a production version will retain enough of the concept’s design, however – here’s hoping.

The front lights of the concept & the rendered by TC are totally different & the back door handle’s of the concept are cooler too because it looks like a coupe while this one looks like a sedan.

Try using LED lights like the one on Honda Civic, sure look nicer and modern. Why tinted so dark, later JPJ come

Look sporty compared to Bezza which is likely a box. Put in 1.5 litre engine it would better rather than 1.2. If Perodua could market this model, it will kill others at same range / class.

I can almost guarantee the production model will look nothing (not even close) to that.

for starters it’ll definitely be less squat and be much taller (like the bezza..which has a height that looks disproportionate to the rest of the car).

the headlight unit will look a lot less complex as well to keep costs (and selling price) low…

The design does not fit b-segment profile, more like a mid size like Altis. Learn your physics.

If the car can be designed to fit 4450mm long with 2600mm wheelbase, I think it should make perfect sense for a B-segment classification – kudos Theo!

  • B-segment or C-segment? Looks like C-segment to me. Please come up with something high-ended, you know you always worth the price, Perodua!
