Petronas revamps Mornings@Mesra breakfast combos

Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB) has introduced its revamped range of breakfast combos under the Mornings@Mesra banner launched earlier this year, aimed at commuters looking for a quick bite on the go. Priced at RM5, the new offerings are available at over 450 participating stations nationwide.

Aside from the currently available combo of nasi lemak and Nescafé, customers can now choose from a selection that includes nasi kerabu, mee goreng and bihun goreng as well as Milo. The initiative is meant to assist local vendors and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) to expand their businesses, and all items are supplied by vetted vendors to ensure quality.

“The latest addition to the menu takes into account our customers’ favourite local dishes across different regions and hence the Mornings@Mesra breakfast combo packs have been customised to suit local tastebuds,” said head of retail business Aadrin Azly. “We are greatly encouraged by the positive feedback received and we endeavour to make this initiative a staple part of making our customers’ mornings better.”

From now until November 15, customers who purchase five Mornings@Mesra combos will receive a 10% Lazada discount voucher worth up to RM15. Digi users will also be able to purchase a combo pack at 99 sen by downloading the Superdeal on the MyDigi app (limited to one deal per person) and presenting it at participating Mesra stores during the same period.

To promote the product, PDB is giving away complimentary breakfast combos at selected regions outside the Klang Valley, starting with Raub on October 9. The next giveaway is in Bintulu on October 27.

    • Ya, not fit to the current Petronas image of being fuel of champions. Champions don’t eat food like this, which can lead to obesity and many diseases. An ideal package will be a fruit like a banana or an apple and some sport drink. Can be sold for RM5 also.

If it’s perceived not to be healthy, a simple solution is to avoid buying it.
