VIDEO: Lamborghini Urus goes on dirt, interior shown

Lamborghini has posted yet another video of its upcoming Urus, where the SUV is now shown charging along a dirt trail. Previously, the model strutted its stuff on snow and sand, showcasing its Sabbia and Neve drive modes, respectively.

For its latest outing, Terra is the drive mode of choice, and it is selected via the car’s ANIMA (Adaptive Network Intelligence Management) system. This is also where you’ll find other drive modes like Strada (Road), Sport, Corsa (Race), plus the above-mentioned ones.

As you can see, the car’s four-wheel steering and all-wheel drive system is putting in their shift to ensure the Lamborghini SUV has maximum grip. The Urus will reportedly ride on the MLB Evo platform, which is also used for the Audi Q7, Bentley Bentayga and Porsche Cayenne. Power is said to come from a bespoke 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine, which is likely put to good use here.

Aside from watching the Urus go full “rally mode,” the video also gives us our first glimpse of the vehicle’s interior, specifically the digital instrument cluster. It shows the usual driving information like the speedometer and tachometer, but there’s also a pitch and roll meter function.

The rest of the cabin hasn’t been revealed in full, at least not officially, but has been leaked on Instagram already. A post by altdynamic shows the Urus’ cabin in full, which comes with two touchscreens to complement the driver’s digital screen. Elsewhere, the large ANIMA controller occupies the centre console along with other switchgear.
