Bentley Bentayga Field Sports for hunting enthusiasts

Here’s one for the countryside set – the Bentley Bentayga Field Sports by Mulliner. If you’ve ever looked at your Bentayga and yearned for a factory-fit rifle set, The Crewe-based marque now has you covered. Bentley’s bespoke commissioning division Mulliner has come together with shotgun manufacturer Purdey to design “the perfect Bentayga for field sports enthusiasts.”

The key addition to the Bentayga Field Sports is a twin-compartment sliding stowage unit, comprising tailored sections for gun cartridges, drinks, binoculars and protective wear. Perched atop that is a pair of Purdey shotguns, which are housed in their own leather-trimmed stowage case. An additional Purdey pack can be specified, which contains a waistcoat, waterproof cape, gaiters, field coat, shoes and an overnight bag.

Mechanically the Bentayga Field Sports is unchanged from prior specifications, and the model here appears to be the petrol version, namely the 6.0 litre W12 twin-turbo. As there are no structural or mechanical alterations required for the Field Sports specification, it can be presumed that this can also be had with the 435 PS/900 Nm triple-charged diesel unit.

Hunting and luxurious SUVs aren’t completely novel. Range Rover teamed up with gun maker Holland & Holland to make the Holland & Holland Range Rover, where the marque’s Special Vehicles Operation (SVO) division started with the top Autobiography Black model as its basis.

This piece of Expensive METAL called Bentayga is only for people with DEEP pockets that happen to have licence to go hunting albeit in luxury style. In short, its not for normal people like us.

Our “Poorer” cousins will make do with 2nd hand Hard-Core Land Rover Discovery. No need to envy as we need more Wealthy people to spend $$$ so that the economy will evolve. Like john said, tax the Rich, so No Problemo.
