Volvo Cars Malaysia opened its new Kuala Lumpur showroom today, which is owned by Sisma Auto, located on the newly-converted ground floor of Menara Worldwide along Jalan Bukit Bintang. The location was previously home to a Jaguar Land Rover dealership prior to becoming the present-day Volvo outlet. Volvo appointed Sisma Auto as one of its official dealers from August.
The new outlet aims to bring ‘a touch of Swedish luxury’ to the area with its retail space influenced by Scandinavian design, called the Volvo Retail Experience (VRE). “VRE is designed to reflect our Scandinavian-inspired values of calm with cleans lines that exude a cool and refreshing visual exterior appeal whilst the interior offers customers a warm and inviting feeling,” said managing director of Volvo Cars Malaysia, Lennart Stegland.
Facilities in the Kuala Lumpur outlet include space for more than six display vehicles simultaneously, customer lounge as well as a studio for customers to select their choice of trim and accessories for their new car. There is also an enclosed delivery bay, and a Volvo merchandise sales area.
The city centre outlet is strictly a sales gallery, one without aftersales support; this will be taken care of by Sisma Auto’s Volvo Service centre in Glenmarie, Selangor. For Volvo owners who aren’t able to send their cars to the Glenmarie service centre themselves, the company offers a Concierge Service within the Klang Valley area, which offers home or office pick-up for customers.
“With this new showroom, we hope to bring the Volvo experience closer to those who live or work in the city,” said managing director of Sisma Auto Syed Khalil Syed Ibrahim. In line with the opening of the showroom at Menara Worldwide, customers who purchase their Volvos from Sisma Auto stand to win an all-expense paid trip to Sweden.
In addition to Volvo, Sisma Auto also operates Jaguar Land Rover outlets (for which they have been better known) in Glenmarie, as well as in Penang.

boyue is not Volvo XC60. learn to differentiate.
Can you blame a person who also says Malaysia has cheapest petrol in the world?
Tt person commenting from tanjung rambutan?

Keep calm & stop whining
Sounds like a frustrated owner of either a mercedes or BMW dislike people commenting bad about BMW and Mercedes when this unprofessional owner want to say bad about volvo.
BMW and Mercedes car gare actually getting low respect from road users nowadays in other words a german junk in the making .
Agreed.
For the record, they were all posted by myself, you can get Paul Tan to confirm it from the email I used.
My statement in that article was only just comparing between BMW’s PHEV vs Volvo’s PHEV, and how even though Volvo’s PHEV is very competitive, (and IMO, superior), the sales does not speak it in Malaysia because of how brand prestige plays a bigger role than actual merits.
That being said, this is only my opinion and only between the two competitive PHEV models.
Personally, I would still get a BMW inline 6 sedan myself in the future as a 2nd car to enjoy driving around, but if course, only if the price is competitive.
