This is the Renault Clio RS 18, a limited edition inspired by the Renault Sport Formula One Team’s 2018 challenger. Based on the Clio RS 220 EDC Trophy, the most potent version of the hot hatch, the 18 wears the black-and-yellow livery of Renault’s F1 cars. The French carmaker celebrated the 40th anniversary of its involvement in F1 last year.
Unique cues include RS 18 badging on the front doors, grey decals and the RS double-diamond logo on the roof. Hints of RS’ signature Sirius Yellow can be found on the Clio’s F1-style front blade, side mouldings and wheel centre caps. The rear badging, front bumper, Renault diamond and RS logo on the bumper have all been blacked out, a touch that’s unique to this car. The diffuser is also in the body’s Deep Black colour.
Inside, the stealthy limited-edition gets numbered RS door sills, Alcantara-leather trim on the steering wheel and carbon fibre-effect air vent surrounds. Renault Sport carpet mats are standard.
No extra power or chassis mods, but the Clio RS 220 EDC Trophy is already tricked out. The 220 hp/280 Nm 1.6L turbo hot hatch comes with a lower and stiffer Trophy chassis, with front dampers that incorporate hydraulic compression stops plus sharper and more direct steering. The Renault Clio RS 18 will come with an Akrapovic exhaust as standard. It will go on sale in Europe in the first half of this year.

Now this is what I call a Black Edition
very nice.. especially the signature foglamp design.. Renault should keep this foglamp design and make it their permanent design for upcoming RS models
