Mazda is teasing a “big reveal” for this year’s New York International Auto Show with a video that lasts no longer than 10 seconds. The clip shows just a headlight and a reminder to stay tuned on March 28, which doesn’t reveal a whole lot.
The headlamp certainly resembles the ones found on the latest Mazda 6, but both body styles have already been revealed – the sedan at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show and the wagon at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
It has been reported that an all-wheel drive version of the Mazda 6 will make its debut in New York, which should give customers in the United States an alternative to the front-wheel drive-only variants currently on sale. This could be the “big reveal” that Mazda has planned.
An alternative answer, albeit more far-fetched one, is a preview for the next-generation Mazda 3. Recently, photos of a Mazda with a digital display instrument cluster found their way online, suggesting the C-segment model is said to make its first appearance in concept/production form.
We’ll have to wait for Mazda to lift the veils off of whatever it is they have planned for this year’s New York show. If you had to guess, what do you think it will be?
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
Mazda USA tagline: ‘If u wanna get a gud Toyota, get a Mazda’
Like that also need to tease?? It seems like another very conventional and ugly masda.
Ugly it maybe, but its still a better Toyota. Besides ur cars aint much to look at too.
I really hate Mazda. Because of my Mazda3, all other cars under RM125k feels bland and not fun to drive. Mazda owner knows what I am talking about.
Syiok sendiri ya. But reality it’s ugly, underpowered and tight interior la.
Ugly is subjective, some people(you) hate it but some loves it….power? Its more than enough for everyday use, on highway 200kmh is easy. Its not like I buy car for drag races. And interior? Slighly small but same as other c segment, 5 people no prob, and the interior looks more premium than competitor. I dont understand the hate, have mazda done something wrong to you?
Dude pls go to see and test more cars
Cramped yes. But underpowered? What are you comparing it against, a Brabus?
If you’re comparing it to a Civic 1.5T, that one is as powerful as a Honda 2.4. A shallow victory really since it’s equivalent isn’t available in Malaysia (the 2.5, with more power and torque than the 1.5T Civic).
The other competitor is the Corolla Altis. Much less power and torque on that, and just as heavy.
So exactly how is a Mazda3 underpowered?
Though I’m not a fanboy of civic ketam but it is indeed better than this
dont think is something new, all already revealed at geneva motor show recently….
