Mitsubishi Mobile Service Unit launched in Kuching

As part of efforts to better serve customers living in rural areas outside Kuching, Sarawak, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has launched the Mitsubishi Mobile Service Unit there.

“As part of our after sales business expansion program, the Mitsubishi mobile service unit is to provide greater convenience and assurance for our customers living in rural areas in Sarawak that are far away from authorised Mitsubishi service centres,” said Tomoyuki Shinnishi, CEO of MMM.

“The Mitsubishi mobile service unit is capable of servicing up to ten cars per day and will cover vehicle schedule maintenance, inspection of vehicle wear and tear, and timing belt replacement,” he added.

Using a Triton as a base, the mobile service unit is equipped with a Mitsubishi vehicle diagnostic scanner, hydraulic jack with stand, air compressor and tool sets. There’s also room for spare parts such as oil filters and lubricants, as well as a generator for power supply.

The mobile service unit will be operated by certified Mitsubishi authorised service dealers, EON Auto Mart and Jimisar Autotrade, and will operate on 150 km radius from Kuching to towns such as Sematan, Lundu, Bau, Serian and Simunjan. Customers who are interested in obtaining the services of the unit can schedule an appointment with the aforementioned dealers.

“This is Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia’s first mobile service truck and customers shall see more of these mobile units in the near future as we are encouraging our authorized Mitsubishi dealers with fleet and rural customer base to embark on this effort to service our customers better,” added Shinnishi.

I hope they will have a similar service truck in Peninsular Malaysia to assist all Mitsubishi cars and trucks in case of emergencies.

Current Mitsubishi models like Outlander, ASX and Triton and including upcoming Mitsubishi models such as Mitsubishi Xpander design is getting more outdated and boring as well as interior design is getting worst and interior features is also very outdated Whereas for Honda and Toyota design is getting better, more advanced features and more stylish. I recommend you to buy Toyota or Honda
