VPCM launches Volkswagen Cares loyalty programme

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has launched the “Volkswagen Cares” customer loyalty programme. Key to this initiative is the Volkswagen Cares mobile app, an after-sales-led effort using a new platform to engage with customers and improve the ownership experience.

The app comes with a list of sales and after-sales features, including service offers, owner rewards, educational videos and tips, event updates, and 24-hour roadside assistance. Available for both iOS and Android, non-Volkswagen owners are also welcome to download the app to access offers, video content and event updates via push notifications.

“Volkswagen is better experienced than explained, and this mobile app was conceptualised with this thought in mind. This mobile app not only makes our services more accessible to our customers, it’s also a way for us to appreciate and connect with our loyal customers,” said VPCM MD Erik Winter.

App aside, an integral part of Volkswagen Cares is Volkswagen Care Plus (VCP), a programme for owners with vehicles five years and older. With a one-time payment of RM138, VCP member privileges include three 20% service discount vouchers, two-year extension of roadside assistance and a RM100 merchandise voucher. Interested customers can sign up at any VW dealer and receive a membership card.

VW cars are so cheap and tak laku that SoCar is renting it for RM68 per day or RM5 per hour. That comes with free petrol somemore.

Why even buy a brand new Passat when you can rent it with free insurance, free maintenance and free everything?

Better to launch a price guarantee program or guaranteed buy back programme.

Most VW cars esp. PASSAL are drive recklessly OTR, maybe to show off they driving VW or to show off their frustration of the resale value and car breaking down or high service cost??
