Subaru has announced a new limited-edition model for the Japanese market, with the WRX STI TC 380 being another addition a long line of special WRX models sold there. Only 50 units will be offered, with each retailing from 4,965,840 yen (RM182,232).
Japanese rally driver Toshihiro Arai, who competed in the World Rally Championship (WRC) and Japan Rally Championship (JRC) with Subaru, is the person supervising the modifications that go into the TC 380, with the numerical portion possibly indicating the amount of horsepower it makes.
The starting point is a 2.0 litre turbocharged flat-four engine, to which a bunch of HKS parts are added on, including a GT III RS Sport turbine kit, Super Turbo resonator, and metal catalyser. On top of that Arai Motorsport will also install an RQA air filter and in-house front chassis brace, the latter to increase frame rigidity.
The TC 380 will also feature a carbon-fibre lip spoiler and serial-numbered Recaro bucket seats, both of which are unique to the model. A full set of photos of the car will be released when the automaker launches a dedicated website for the model.

Fantastic AWD system, only downside is aging engine tech and dull interior, many points lost to civic type r
ageing tech yes, but dull interior? i think the straight face interior is far better than the techno-tak-tentu-arah Type R’s.
