Lexus has introduced a range of TRD accessories (labelled ‘F Sport Parts’) for the recently updated RC F, which is meant to spruce up the sports coupe even more for customers in Japan.
The line-up includes a body kit that adds on a discreet front spoiler, as well as decorative trim near the corner “inlets.” Other available bits are aerodynamic side mirror caps finished in gloss black, side skirts and staggered 19-inch forged aluminium wheels.
Should you want some carbon-fibre for the RC F, Lexus offers a new rear diffuser and lip spoiler too. Those in search of performance can install a sports muffler, additional steel underbody bracing and a new performance damper brace for the rear.
No enhancements available for the engine, as it remains a 5.0 litre naturally-aspirated V8 making 473 PS and 527 Nm of torque. With these TRD parts, will you pick the RC F over the BMW M4 and Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupe?

‘No enhancements available for the engine’
TRD have been effectively reduced to a bodykit and stickers outfit. No wonder they went to Greddy for the real sport enhancement bits.
its confusing now.. toyota has TRD then Gazoo Racing, and i thought TRD is no more coz being replaced by Gazoo Racing..
now Lexus reintroduce TRD into the field.. so how about Gazoo Racing? besides, Lexus doesnt have their own tuning dept? has to use TRD?
I thought F Sport is their hi-performance tuning department.
why hennessey has not touch that v8 yet, surely it can be fettled ans produce more than 500 bhp before force induction
