Kia XCeed sketch revealed – possible debut at Geneva

Kia has another crossover model on the way, which is being teased in this sketch you see before you. Reportedly called the XCeed, the model is said to be a jacked-up version of the regular Ceed, albeit with some styling tweaks.

The sketch is certainly a dramatic one, with oversized wheels paired with a sloping roofline and a bold rear end. Absent cues include door handles, side mirrors and shut lines for the vehicle’s doors and windows, although these are to be expected.

A clearer (and more representative) look at the model can be obtained from previous spyshots of a development car making the rounds. In them, we see a substantial amount of camouflage and body cladding on both ends, likely indicating the XCeed will be clearly differentiated from the Ceed hatchback.

Expect the XCeed to get the same engines as the rest of the Ceed lineup, including 100 PS 1.4 litre naturally-aspirated MPi four-cylinder, 120 PS 1.0 litre turbocharged T-GDi three-cylinder and 140 PS 1.4 litre T-GDi four-cylinder petrol engines, along with a 1.6 litre CRDi turbodiesel in either 115 PS and 135 PS outputs, paired to a six-speed manual gearbox and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Wow, what a superb design. This is proof that Kia engineers and designers work hard to improve their cars to make it appealing to the public

This is why Kia, just 10 years older than Proton, can sell 8 million cars globally and Proton only 50,000 cars per annum

They work hard to improve their cars. This is why in Australia and USA, they are nowTOP

The same joker that claims Proton was setup in 1957. No wonder he likes joke cars.

I don’t see anything above that says Proton was setup in 1957.

Do you know how to read?
