Novitec is no stranger when it comes to modifying Ferraris, and the company’s N-Largo package is one of its more comprehensive offerings. Previously offered for the F12berlinetta, the German tuning company has now given Ferrari’s current flagship V12 model – the 812 Superfast – the full N-Largo treatment as well.
First up, the control unit for the 6.5 litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine gets a remap so it now produces 840 PS (829 hp) and 751 Nm of torque, which is a significant step up from the standard car’s 800 PS (789 hp) and 718 Nm.
With more power, the zero to 100 km/h is now 2.8 seconds, or one tenth of second quicker than stock, while the top speed is 5 km/h more at 345 km/h. Novitec also offers its high-performance exhaust system made of either stainless steel or lightweight Inconel, with the latter saving up to 11 kg.
When fitted, the company says its system “produces a V12 exhaust note that fully does justice to the spectacular appearance of this Novitec sports car.” There’s even a sport exhaust system available separately for customers who want to make more of a racket.
On the earlier mention of appearance, the N-Largo bodywork modification features a widebody kit that adds 140 mm to the 812 Superfast’s standard 1,971 mm width. Designed in cooperation with Vittorio Strosek, the kit consists of new fender flares, bumpers, carbon-fibre rocker panels, a front lip spoiler and a large rear wing.
These components do provide aerodynamic benefits, Novitec claims, and they are complemented by other less pronounced add-ons like dedicated trim on the bonnet and the vents on the sides of the vehicle.
For a more aggressive stance, new springs lower the ride height by some 35 mm, but the company also provides an optional front lift kit that raises the front axle by 40 mm in case speed bumps or ramps become an issue.
As for the interior, Novitec provides a wide range of tailor-made solutions made with premium leather or Alcantara, depending on the preferences of the paying customer, such as this quilted black and blue theme for example.
