Maserati Quattroporte S Q4, Levante S GranSport special editions at Monterey – limited to 50 units each

A pair of special edition Maseratis will be at the Monterey Car Week – the Maserati Quattroporte S Q4 GranLusso and the Maserati Levante S GranSport, each limited to a run of 50 units and outfitted with Pelletessuta woven leather interiors made by Ermenegildo Zegna.

But first, the oily bits. There’s no mention of specific powertrain details for these Quattroporte S and Levante S special editions, so it stands to reason that each of these will be equipped with the 3.0 litre twin-turbo V6 mill producing 430 hp at 5,750 rpm and 580 Nm of torque from 2,250 – 4,000 rpm. These outputs are sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed, ZF-sourced automatic gearbox.

These limited edition models are instead differentiated by their interior and exterior trim. The Zegna-upholstered Quattroporte S Q4 employs dark brown Pelletessuta upholstery paired with sports seats, a Zegna Edition interior badge, a custom Blu Sofisticato metallic exterior paint and with blue brake calipers.

Meanwhile, Maserati’s accompanying special edition SUV employs a Bronzo tri-coat exterior finish, while 21-inch Helios polished rims are home to black brake calipers. Inside, the black Pelletessuta interior is mated with Radica wood trim. Both the limited edition Quattroporte S Q4 and Levante S GranSport are expected to be delivered to customers within the first half of 2020.

America is no stranger to special edition Maseratis, as it received the Edizione Nobile pack at the end of last year for the Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante, also limited to 50 units of each model. In Malaysia, the 2019 model-year Levante arrived last September, followed by a 10-unit Vulcano edition which arrived in March.
