Honda Malaysia is continuing to improve its aftersales service for customers in Malaysia, and has opened six new Body & Paint (BP) Centres this year, bringing the total number of such facilities to 28.
“Honda Malaysia is striving to provide more after-sales convenience to our customers by extending the BP Centre footprint. To-date, we have 28 BP Centres in operation. We believe the expansion of BP Centres will help Honda Malaysia meet the increasing demand as well as offer high quality aftersales service and benefits to our customers such as skilled technicians and conducive environment,” said Toichi Ishiyama, managing director and CEO of Honda Malaysia.
“To top it off, Honda Malaysia provides quality products in our BP Centres. This includes waterborne paint, the revolutionary green product as well as genuine Honda parts that are certified by Honda Motor Corporation. We are also working closely with our dealers to deliver top-notch customer experience from sales to aftersales,” he added.
BP Centres provide assistance to customers in terms of vehicle inspection, accident vehicle repairs, painting, quality check after maintenance and other services. This includes preparing all necessary documents for insurance claims and assisting in the claims process.
Honda Malaysia’s sales performance has seen an increase in aftersales service intakes, and as of October 2019, over 36,000 BP Centre service intakes have been recorded, which is a 40% increase from the number of service intakes in the same period last year. For the list of BP Centres, refer to the tables posted below.

Honda should educate their owners to be careful driving their cars instead of setting up more profit centers to rake money from their owner accidents,…. but i guess making more is higher on their agenda.
Only send the car to the authorized body paint center if under insurance claim. The price is beyond your imagination and items they claim from insurance companies is out of this world.
Just providing space and equipment for outside contractor
It seems many lousy drivers are driving Honda and even though the car has a great safety features… 4 airbags, 6 airbags… VSA …honda sensing bla bla… Many still get into accidents.
And dealers are more than happy doing B&P repair because higher sales per car and therefore higher margin. Imagine a car comes in for service and owner paying rm300.
But one small crash will easily cost 10k to the insurance, 20-30k if involving suspension parts and airbag. Its a dirty job but someone got to do it. Easy money too.
