AP Permit Figures

Rafidah says there were 66,277 units of approved AP last year (2004). [Source, Source]

Mahathir says there were 67,000 APs released last year (2004). [Source]

The Prime Minister’s Office released a list accounting for 67,158 APs and claimed it was a list from 1970 to 2005. This is a period of 35 years. [Source]

Can anyone spot any problem with the figures?

there is 2 thing I know that the government should not do or have. (but i will only mention one of the 2).

Business should be run by businessman, Politician should run the country.

The problem in Malaysia is that the Politician are running the business, that is why we have all this problem in the country, the politician are more concern on the government new policy effect their personal sale, rather than the country. A new policy approve by the cabinet, it is then design to benefit the business the government is running or the politician themselves, rather then the improvement of the country.

example, Proton. If this company is run by a businessman instead of politician, there will not need for all the “protection” and poor quality car.

example, RICE we eat everyday, it is now being monopoly by Bernas, politically link company, they is why the price of rice is very very very very HIGH.

example, motorcycle price is increasing, why? It is making the rich richer by robbing the poor.

Malaysia WILL not grow when politician run the business.

Just now i saw a news on the front page of Kosmos, saying that a Subaru car import price is RM20K but selling RM200K in Malaysia, while Mini Cooper’s import price is RM16K, selling RM190K. OH MY GOD!!! I couldn’t believe this! Wat kinda business rule is this??? Dun tell me Rafidah dunno about this!

We, malaysian consumers, are being slayed by those Super Greedy Leech!!!

According PM statistics and to balance up the numbers, there were 120 APs released in 2005 and 67038 up to 2004. So, there were 38 APs that Mahatir didn’t want people to know and 723 APs that Rafidah didn’t want people to know.

Read carefully the lampiran I and lampiran II. The actual numbers released (peruntukan 2005) for 2005 alone is 67,158 APs.

in hong kong. people with middle income can easily buy a car with 3 years loan only. look at our country, a university graduated student can only own a car by loan it atleast 7 years. if wana buy a better car other than proton, tat become a dream. gov wana help bumi with tis AP? may be few of them become rich under tis policy. but thounsand of our rakyat include bumi n non bumi become victims coz they need to buy a car with higher tax. so tat many family unable to buy a car, not because they r poor, but they will become poor if try to loan a car in malaysia.

As most (my friends) would know, I’m very much for the government, but never for the people running it. It’s all a farce, and we Malaysians have been living with it and forced to accept it without question. Why? Coz we’re too complacent. No one wants their daily rice bowl taken away, and like it or not, the government determines who gets it and who doesn’t. In the industry I’m in, favouritism is too blatantly practised, to the extent that quality is compromised. And this also bears testament to the age-old adage, Sex Sells!

Aggghhhh…I do not mean to ramble away incessantly. What I’d like to say here is…..out with the old, and in with the new. Get it or don’t, I don’t see myself having any effect with regards to that. Can anyone honestly say they’re really tired of seeing the same old faces lying blatantly to us, Malaysians?????

Paul, salutations, and accolades to you, for having this site!
