How to solve Proton Gen2 door problem

I found this little gem on the Cari Chinese forums. Forumer Blackgenius007 has a solution for Proton Gen2 owners who have trouble closing their Gen2 doors. It’s pretty common. The Gen2’s door cannot be closed properly with some cars.

The reason for this is poor quality control by Proton assemblers. The alignment of the door hinge is not aligned properly. Here is the solution.

Google Wifi

Google has launched a free Wi-Fi service in San Fransisco. Together with it’s Wi-Fi service, it has also launched a free VPN service so that Wi-Fi users can encrypt their over-the-air data.

Since their e-mail service is called Gmail, I wonder why they didn’t name their Wi-Fi hotspot G-Spot.

Proton doing well in South Africa

Proton seems to be doing well in South Africa. According to a report by Business Day, sales of Proton vehicles exceeded the Imperial Group’s optimistic forecasts after the launch of the marque in South Africa last month.

Proton models currently offered there are only the Proton Gen2, with the Proton Arena coming in November. Proton is distributed in South Africa by Imperial Group’s Pearl Automotive.

Analysts have said that Imperial Group might replicate the success of the Tata brand of cars in South Africa which it also distributes and is the group’s best seller so far.
