Renault V10 engine sings

This is something really amusing. As most of you should know, Renault’s F1 team won the 2005 Formula 1 championship. To celebrate their victory, Renault put one of their RS25 V10 Formula 1 engines on the dyno machine and programmed the engine management to make the engine sing!

Different RPMs produce different engine tones. Listen to the RS25 V10 engine’s rendition of Queen’s We Are The Champions.

Hahahaha! Very funny indeed! It made me laugh. I can’t help it. They hit the right notes and the right beat unlike what Richard Hammond did for the Top Gear which doesn’t even come close to be called melody! :D

Anyway, Renault sure know how to celebrate. I’m sure no other team ever done this before. Very Original. Not only the whole team members are singing it, the engine too! LOL!

    Dear aksMS,

I think it was James May of Top Gear who did the musical (if you can call it that) engines.

Cool, but not actually that original. When they left F1, Asiatech used their engine to play “When the Saints Go Marching In”.

said is right, I was going to say the same thing since so many of you pointed out how original it was, when its not :)

Dear edw, you are right. A V10 engine in a compact car like Savvy? Tak sesuai. The engine is too powerful for a car like that.

Dear all bloggers in here (if you have listened to the song).

The song played by the engine was ‘We are the Champions.’

First time I listened to the song, I was a little confused with the rythm. I decided to listen more carefully and iIfinally got what I have.
