Perodua targets 14000 units for March 2006

Perodua has had some pretty high sales figures this month, selling 8000 units so far for the month and it’s only two thirds way through. Perodua expects to sell 14,000 cars this month, fueled mainly by the Perodua Myvi and the newly launched Kelisa Imago model. It’s previous record sales was back in December 2005 where it sold 13,900 units. The Perodua Myvi is expected to account for 50% of this month’s sales target.

Well looks like those who have been frantically for their Myvi’s will be able to get them by July 06 when they clear the backlog. Hmmm ….. i wonder when will i get mine booked in Nov 05 …… more than 5 months, maybe July 06 who knows. Not so keen now ….. with the higher interest rates, higher petrol prices …..

Perodua cars to be cheaper by RM800 to RM1,500 with the exception of Kancil. The first car manufacturer to do so ……a big round of applause !!! Though not much but still better than nothing ……. let’s see when will Proton do the same.

btw, all the existing MYvi owners will see a further depreciation of RM800 to RM1,500 and not forgetting those who paid undertable for fast delivery, you’re looking at RM2,000 + RM1,500 + normal depreciation.

Well for those who is waiting impatiently for the delivery of their Myvi’s something to cheer about ……. coz’ I’m one of those still waiting, looks like going to be July 06 ( i booked in Nov 05) no hurry anyway.
