Fiat has produced this promotional video for their upcoming 2nd generation Fiat Bravo, which replaces the Fiat Stilo in it’s product line-up. Also notice that the letters a and v in the new Bravo logo forms the number 2. Pretty smart, though I can’t say I appreciate the way they took the new Fiat logo very much. Click here for my previous post on the Fiat Bravo, and the video is available after the jump!
The styling for some of the Fiat models are superb, while some bomb, eg. Multipla.
But it’s not so much the styling but the execution here in Malaysia. I use to own a Punto and while I loved it, the maintainance was a killer because the distributor sold the parts at a ridiculously high price and the availability of skilled mechanics was wanting.
I also spoke to one of the trained mechanics sent by the local distributor to Italy who said to me that the owner of the local franchise makes one to two trips a year to Fiat HQ and hand picks the rejected models to be shipped to Malaysia. Apparently, the rejected models cannot be scrapped but are good enough to be sold, albeit with some minor problems. They also cost less. So you know what kind of people run the show here.
A pity because with good distributor support, Fiat cars are quite nice to own.
I was expecting more from the ad. Looks like they only do the ‘pusing-pusing’. Might as well use it to do the drift while they film the thing ‘pusing-ing’…
Very boring ad, but it does show the beauty of the car very well.

I like how the Multipla looks hehe, it’s a little weird, but it’s kinda cute and eye-catching; people turn around to have a second look at the car most of the time. Plus it’s nice to drive too.
