LMG Shuttle - RM85,000

lmg_dadi_shuttle.jpg

LMG Edaran (M) Sdn Bhd has started selling the LMG Shuttle 7-seater SUV, the third of it’s new models, joining the previous Tourer and Trekker models unveiled last year. It is powered by a 2.4 liter Mitsubishi engine, likely the same one powering both the Trekker and the Tourer: a 4G64 2.4 liter SOHC engine producing 147hp and 214Nm of torque.

Like it’s other two models, it is a rebadged Dadi (shown above is a Dad Shuttle), a Chinese marque which offers mainly SUV and pick-up truck vehicles. The LMG/Dadi Shuttle’s styling reminds me of a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. Strangely, there is no mention of the Hydroxene technology that was previously announced and celebrated. Please refer to the related posts for a recap on what Hydroxene is, or rather was.

The LMG Shuttle will go for RM85,000.

with 85k, this should be a good deal.
but not much info given here. Petrol or diesel ?
    anyway, doubtful on the quality.
    anybody own a LMG before?

Agree..the design may “refer” to Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
I not really know this car company backgroup and the car performance, but judge by its cover, I not really confident on this car. The badge like a chinese word “BIG”.

hmm.. LMG again… so what happen to those Tourer & Trekker?? any owner here?? never bump into one on the road…. what about this Hydroxene?? no more story? just “gone with the wind”… what a joke!!! still remember “Just Add Water”… haha

Maybe Malaysian water has insufficient hydrogen content or something. Who knows what excuse they are giving. I still havn’t seen a hydroxene car running on the road yet.

RM85,000 for a 7 seater this size is a real bargain. Only thing left is built quality and service. Anyone had a test drive?

should be a real bargain and sell like hot cakes!
coz quite tired of seeing too much Avanza(1.5L 70K+) around!

if compare with Ford Courier, then the pricing would be too much different…

or compare to a Renualt Kanggo 1.5L Diesel ?
    but i think this a 5 seater right now…

anyway its a affordable car! (hopefully!)

    ha ha ha…. B-O-L-E-H-L-A-N-D B-O-L-E-H !

went to showroom to have a look at the vehicle. Sales person shared with me. engine = mitsubishi, gearbox = toyota. Interior wise….sad to say it is very bad….exterior wise…..one can cut his/her finger at the edge of the headlamp…. that’s how bad it is…..no wonder it costs RM87k…..

I saw the spec sheet the other day, engine power isn’t impressive, coupled with the heavy weight, the power to weight ratio seems poor.

This is old mitsubishi engine that not come with MIVEC, this engine tend to have more problem too…but for RM85k, still reasonable, but no confident with this small company…

ahaha… RM85k eh.. bargain to get Land Cruiser… with LMG badge by Dadi. Don’t expect too much as every cents counts. If you get one of those, just drive it and don’t think too much then it will be good.

The front looks like the Landcruiser Prado.

Judging from the side profile, looks like the doors are made from milo-tin quality metal. Only the front looks menacing.

Hhmm… 4G64? Can swap out for same engine found on Grandis which has MIVEC. Or alternatively, use 6G72TT from GTO.
