there has always been bmw customers in ipoh. its just that today, they are offering better services to those customers already there, and future ones to come. its a good move though, by showing that they are doing more for their customers, it can help them attract new ones.

but i still have no idea what the 4th ‘S’ really means also.

Doubtful sales will be great in Ipoh, but perhaps the nearby states could contribute to the sales.
If the present state G still “maintained” its “blistering” economic rise, this bimmer and as well as vw there would face a real tough time of getting enough buyers for their cars.
Hopefully the cheaper rental and labor there would help it stays afloat for much longer period of time.

    Well Cire,

There are many rich ppl in Ipoh, just some of them don’t like to show off.

Most rich ppl in Ipoh prefer Benzs, but these days I can see more 5series around in Ipoh.

My neighbour fren drives a Porsche. I know a few CLS in Ipoh too.

6 series also around in Ipoh.

I guess I hang out too much.

This is the future of auto services. The current model of garages run by mechanics who learnt their skill as apprentice is numbered. Modern cars can no longer be serviced with just spanners and screw drivers, you need the whole suite of diagnostic hardware and software, special tools and manufacturer’s support in order to service/repair their cars.

There are lots more expensive cars in Ipoh than you think. I always thought 5 series and X5s are cheap, since I see so many around in Ipoh, then I saw the price list Paul posted, then, I dropped my jaw on the floor in awe :p And yea, CLS are aplenty too, I’ve seen at least 6 different ones here, one belongs to my girlfriend’s father, don’t like em though, or I would have asked for a ride ages ago :)
