BMW 1-Series Coupe, mostly uncovered

These are shots of the new BMW 1-Series 2-door coupe just exiting from a car wash - notice the marks left by the wet tyres as it exits what appears to be some kind of garage. It is mostly undisguised, although random pieces of tape here and there still doesn’t reveal the full deal. Compared to the recently launched 1-Series hatch facelift, the 1-Series coupe sports a slightly different bumper design - it now has two strips separating the foglamps from the center intake grille. See a comparison photo after the jump, as well as rear shots.

hey guys, the rear is not uncovered fully yet; so u never know, u might like it when it is finally unveiled to the public in full! I have faith in BMW, they never make rubbish.

i though the 1 series is going 2 get new design headlight like in the article “BMW 1-Series Coupe positioned at purists” cos it look much better & look slick & light weight. if it stick 2 the original 1series headlight, then it look 2 bulky in the front which make it look fat. bmw like 2 create ugly headlight nows a day. the 3series 4 door headlight look much better then the coupe but they make all the coupe headlight in m3. sigh…

Looks ok. Btw, Paul, if you hadn’t mentioned the random pieces of tape I would’ve thought it’s some kind of design or stickers; it’s just put on there so well and neat haha.

would it be better to just get the 3 series coupe. but i suppose a cheaper bmw is always welcome. esp when the 1 series hatch is so ugly. not that this is anymuch better.

I really hated the 1 series hatch when it first came out. But this coupe caught my attention. Imagine dressing this beauty in bodykit and touring car style rear wing. Sweet!
