My previous entry of MRAP vehicle example is not the Barricade but Bonecrusher of the Transformer the movie, my bad. Military vehicles have to perform accordingly in peace and the stress of war conditions. I'm not trying to give the gruesome images of the war but vehicle wise, these two theatres did provide some requirements for a better vehicles. The LR above could be one of many variants that can be used for peaceful purposes.

Anyway Land Rover is not put as a frontline attack vehicle rather liasion, logistics, command and control and light strike vehicle in our country. Even the US Army won't put Hummer in front of the tanks to lead an offensive. It would be suicidal.

I do agree with what paxter has to say about this vehicle. Hummer is really unsuitable to be used here. It's a real fuel guzzler and it's wide. LR and G-Wagon are better suited here. It might be possible to see this vehicle be operated by the armed forces as command vechicle or UAV (Pilotless recon plane). Hummer is cool as movies portrayed this vehicle as tough, in fact it's not. It takes a heck awful lots of armour to make it a little resistant to roadside attack or IED. Hummer suffers a lot in Iraq so does the IFV called the Striker. That's why Pentagon rushed MRAP (Mine Resistance Ambush Protection) vechicles to counter IED attacks (similar to Barricade in Transformers the Movie). Even that is not immune. LR has been used for decades here and I think there are reasons for it.

for the sake of presentation,

this looks like a lasy lying phyton,
my suggestion is that, batter to present the car on uneven ground level so that we could see some static action of how the suspension works, its more exciting.

this one looks like a memorial,

Well honestly Malaysia does not need a humvee it consumes a hell of a lot of fuel and it is too bulky and very heavy... Land rovers has been used for the military since like forever in malaysia.

They are durable, tough, and simple to maintain. This "concept" is most likely a command vech. Command vech does not need to go deep into the jungles and if you taught the army will use them like humvee's going charging into the enemy then you got the wrong vech. We use g-wagons, and APC for that purpose, these are mostly are set up as mobile command post. Way-waaaay away from the actual military operations taking place... which is why although great, it does not need serious armor protection.

this is sick... and with the 'Concept' word on it, that's even more pathetic....

better get a proper Hummer or Toyota Mega Cruiser for military purposes....

I don't see it being used in our terrains. How's the tuning radius and ground clearance? Anyways, would be good in places with flatter terrains.

Aha! Super MPV/SUV crossover concept. 7 seater, not-so-heavy-terrain forest, cool family weekend. Will tell everyone to Get Out Of The Way! while driving in KL traffic. Including Hummers. Cool.. would be very pretty in gleaming black.

I don't think this is use for those kinds of instance where exploring the jungle. Its more like need flexibility of housing communication equipment. Long wheelbase and Malaysian jungle looks like a disaster to me.
Australia Jungle is the same with Malaysian jungle?

Long wheelbase LR has been used by the Australian special forces for quite sometimes. And it's 6x6. This one is suitable as a command vehicle and will not be able to go everywhere in our terrain due to it's long wheelbase and 6x4 nature. Developed in Malaysia?
