Our dear Tun should have step down much earlier, perhaps 25 years earlier, then he can try out the good quality of European and Japenese cars and ask Proton to come up with Tuah-the-Proton-savior, that would would save us all Malaysian from 3 decades of disappointment.

Having said that, what is stopping Tun from trying out European and Japenese cars when he was in his terms-- His EGO

you see.... British people now looking for cheap-to-run car. this is because of the economy here getting worse. it is good if proton have good car (reliability is the the first things to think....then design as for eye attractants) with better fuel consumption. Don't go for hybrid because hybrid is actually not an eco-friendly. it is not green at all because it bring harm to earth because one of its component comes from rare-earth. you know what does it mean...rite? also how reliable the hybrid car in the long run? Not economy-friendly as well. the battery not cheap either! it is more harmful than using petroleum based fuel. really hope for proton to dev. diesel engine for sedan car and the govt. can import quality diesel.=just my humble opinion=

Who cares if Cron's statement looks biased and unreliable? U aren't going to buy a car based on his opinions, right? A typical Kimchi - Keyboard warrior. Easily aggravated. Cron came up with 19 words describing his dissatisfaction over Korean cars and you came right back with 16 words within half an hour hitting back at his comments, as if your daddy's company produces 70% of the Korean cars and you are afraid that your doggy will starve to death if the company cant profit. There are thousands of good and bad comments all around the web regarding Korean, Japanese, Malaysian, and etc cars. Reply to each and all of the negative posts about Korean cars, if you want to. But, how many Won do the Korean car companies pay you for each comment? If you have such unparalleled confidence in Korean cars, go and face the real people and help them to sell their cars and boost their sales. The real problem with Korean cars are not the cars themselves, its their cybertroopers that make people hate the cars. Thumb me down if you are exactly the type of people described above.

perutdua produce cheap cars...yes cheap materials but NEVER cheap price!! use you brains la...do you really think the quality is on par with honda / toyota? just open up the door in see for yourself how thin is the metal. perutdua is expert in cost cutting & downgrading of jap models.

even a tiny viva elite already 45k. ( can buy proton persona 1.6 @ 46k )
myvi SE 1.5 @ 62k. ( can buy suzuki swift @ 65k)

what kind of ridiculous pricing is that? and still i hear ppl saying p2 produce cheap cars? i guess alot of ppl's brain stop growing at the age of 10.

they get all the tax advantage but never give good price to consumer but profit everything.

So the perutdua sedan 1.5 will be at 69k . 1 thousand cheaper than vios j.

perutdua really tamak!! dream on for cheaper sedan!! i will never give one sen to this greedy company!

even tho i dun really like proton but at least they are trying hard and more honest ( pricing-wise) than this cut throat perutdua.

Of course Neo not a rebadge. They develop it in house. Based on Satria. Satria was based on Colt if I am not mistaken. Still SAMPAH! P2 still rebadge. But P1 producing SAMPAH even with the billions of taxpayers' money. If they are confident of their own strength, build a performance car. A sport sedan to match Lancer istead of rebadging a Lancer to be called Inspira (many call it WaLan). And look for yourself... many of the buyer for Inspira are Ah Beng ones, trying to convert it to look like Evo. Still proud of P1's products? Typical SAMPAH fanboys!

Well, producing SAMPAH cars aren't really an achievement don't you think? If not, why do people still flock to P2? Ever heard of the P1's power-window? Or the unreliability of Caampro? Look closely too. Many MyVi and Alza LED tail light last. Still, Exora after a few months many of the LEDs would be kaput. What gives??? Still backing P1 even after it is not owned by the Malaysian government? Wow! You've taken the term "fanboy" to new heights!!!

u dont understand what am i trying to say. i mean p1 or p2 will provide better spec for europe country. i bet u never seen wira or iswara sold in malaysia using name 'uk spec'. i grew up thru that period...its rare but salesman knew it can be an attraction to buyer.
the reason why camry here got only 2 because our safety guideline is not that strict..and most of us didnt care abt care safety..(still driving without using a seatbelt). nway cheapest version of current vios got airbag.
