RAWANG: Dua kereta ‘misteri’ model terbaru keluaran Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua (Perodua) Sdn Bhd yang akan memasuki pasaran tidak lama lagi, bakal dibawa pulang juara keseluruhan kategori laut dan pantai bagi siri pertandingan memancing GP Joran 2007.

Tajaan Perodua yang menjadi hadiah misteri bagi peserta GP Joran itu berikutan model berkenaan hanya akan berada di pasaran bulan depan.

Tajaan dua kereta itu merekodkan komitmen padu Perodua selaku penaja utama siri GP Joran untuk tahun ketiga berturut-turut sejak 2005.

Penyerahan replika kunci kenderaan berkenaan dilakukan Pengarah Urusannya, Hafiz Syed Abu Bakar kepada Pengarang Kumpulan Berita Harian Sdn Bhd, Datuk Manja Ismail di Pusat Automotif Perodua di sini, semalam.

Hafiz berkata, penajaan dua kereta model terbaru itu dijangka mampu menarik ramai kaki pancing menyertai GP Joran tahun ini, sekali gus memberi impak sama kepada promosi kenderaan berkenaan di peringkat akar umbi.

Beliau berkata, memancing kini menjadi antara hobi paling popular di kalangan rakyat Malaysia dan sewajarnya Perodua tampil menyokong aktiviti sihat itu.

“Saya juga pernah terbabit dalam hobi memancing dan tahu betapa menariknya kegiatan ini. GP Joran berjaya mempromosikan hobi yang paling diminati itu.

“Pada masa sama, Perodua melihat kehadiran ribuan penyokong, pengunjung dan kaki pancing ke lokasi Karnival GP Joran menjadi platform untuk mempromosikan produk kami,” katanya.

Pada 2005, Perodua menaja dua unit Kembara CT GX berharga lebih RM100,000 dan ia dipandu pulang oleh juara kategori laut, Zainal Hassan dari Melaka manakala juara kategori pantai, Nor Azhar Wahab dari Pahang.

Pada tahun lalu, Perodua sekali lagi menaja dua unit Kembara CT GX yang menjadi milik Abdul Halim Rahman dari Kedah yang menjadi juara kategori laut manakala peserta Pahang, Zulkhairi Othman dinobatkan juara kategori

The prices are a bit too steep.. I would rather get a Neo with that kinda pricing...

i will wait for 850cc auto , i think will at between 850cc manual and 1000cc manual aorund 36k can think think

ya....still kinda pricey...if 46K for high grade.....almost same as MyVi..... 1.0 vs 1.3

But is the 660 and 850 using the Kancil engine??
If its the same then you're actually getting a kancil with new looks~   

Can't wait for May. This mini entry model would be pretty exciting. I think it would be a different engine from Kancil as the new one is Fuel Injection, not caburator. So I guess fuel economy would be further improved. Besides, its not a face lift, its an all new model.

looks like its a good bargain....think of sold my ageing kenari to buy this car :p

i think the price will reduce since myvi 1000cc manual is just 38,924.10 for solid color and 39,447.30 for metallic color. even is full premium spec also cant till 46k lah coz 1300cc manual also at 43,007.60 for solid and 43,530.80 for metalic, tat is over liao lah

to think about it,since 1000 cc auto model is offering at $ 43,000, might as well top up another 3000+ to get 1300cc myvi auto.what do you guys think?however,i wanna see the car first hand before deciding to go with myvi.

If you plan to get a MyVi, go straight and get the 1.3L. 1.0L feels underpowered. Or alternatively get a Kenari 1.0 or Viva 1.0.

we'll see bout that.i like this new viva too,coz too many myvis on the road already.js have to wait for the launch and for the test drive...
