if i'm toyota man, i surely will take legal action on proton if there is no mutual agreement regarding this! how dare they use wish design although only as mule test model, its a liability of potential tarnish of reputation u know...better give them a lesson.
u buy a satria/wira, and u plonk in a mitsubishi mivec turbo-charged engine, added side skirting, changed the sport rim, changed the ehaust and the bank should take action on you because u made modification without prior approval from the bank coz it's stated clearly in the Hire-Purchase Agreement that u are not allowed to modify the car in any way.
Proton also should sue you because your modification resulted in liability of potential tarnish of reputation if the modification job was not done properly and involved in accident later on, giving impression that Proton cars is not safe and bad quality.
but then, u might say, "i bought the car, it is mine and my suka hati la what i wan to do to my car!" same principles apply to proton buying those Wish. only difference is, you dont ACTUALLY OWN the car before you settle your car loan, when Proton could've bought those mpvs with cold hard cash!
