2006 Honda Civic Modulo

Honda Access has released the 2006 Honda Civic’s Modulo bodykit. Looks pretty hot. I can’t wait till Honda Malaysia brings in the Asean version of the Honda Civic. I heard the styling cues are going to be a mix of the American and JDM Civic.

Kia KCV III might enter production

Kia Motors America’s president Peter Butterfield is urging Kia to design and manufacture a two door two seat convertible to it’s US line-up in line with Kia’s supposedly sporty image as opposed to the more ‘uncle’ feel of Hyundais.

Hyundai Portico Concept

This is Hyundai’s attempt at a hybrid concept vehicle called the Hyundai Portico. It’s a people mover designed to move people comfortably. Well, at least it looks like it. It’s only a 6-seater, a suprise for me for a vehicle that looks humongous.

Mitsubishi Concept-X

The Mitsubishi Concept-X unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Show should be able to give an insight on how the final form of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X will look like. It looks like a sedan version of the Mitsubishi Sportsback Concept.

2004 Customs Audit Report

Results of Customs audit as presented by Auditor-General Tan Sri Hadenan Abdul Jalil. This is an audit of year 2004.

  1. Discounts of RM27.55 million on duties to importers although not eligible
  2. Did not use approved rates
  3. Wrongly assessed car value
  4. Goods in custom storage contravened licensing criteria
  5. Wrong codes entered into declaration forms
  6. Goods released before duties amounting to RM500,000 not paid
