Audi and Lamborghini both belong to the Volkswagen Group. What does that mean? An Audi supercar.
Where the Audi A7 will go heads on with the BMW X5, Audi also has a BMW X3 competitor designed the A5.
The Audi Q5 will be more of a crossover SUV like the Mitsubishi Airtrek and the Subaru Forester based on a car platform rather than built grounds-up from an SUV platform like the Q7/Touareg/Cayenne platform.
The Q5 will be based on an Audi A4 platform and will be powered by Audi’s 2.0 T FSI, 2.0 TDI and 3.2-litre V6 units.
The Audi Q5 is due for showrooms in 2007.
Yet another car manufacturer whose getting onto the SUV bandwagon. Audi is currently testing it’s flagship SUV the Audi Q7.
