Reader Mun Wai sent in these spyshots of a convoy of Proton vehicles. There were a few Proton Savvys escorting a Proton Satria Replacement Model. From this photo, you can have a look at the size comparison between a Proton Savvy and a Satria Replacement Model. You’ll also notice a very nice white Proton Savvy. I wonder if Proton will be offering this new colour soon?

This is a left-hand drive Proton Savvy being tested on the same roads. Could Proton be testing for the left-hand drive China market? Or perhaps the US market. I think the previous is more likely.
These are spyshots of a new car being tested on Malaysian roads. It is a small mini-MPV type of vehicle which belongs in the Hyundai/Inokom Atos and Perodua Kenari class of cars. It’s heavily plastered, but the overall shape and certain design features leads me to believe that it is the Naza NX-01, which is supposed to be launched on the 22nd of April 2006. That’s 10 days from now. Check out the spyshots after the jump.

The Lexus LF-A Concept was shown last October at the Tokyo Motor Show, and Lexus/Toyota officials gave hints that it might be called the Lexus LF-H. Not too differnet from the concept name. Powered by a V10 engine with Formula 1 DNA making upwards of 500 horsepower, it’s expected to be thrown into the same league as the Porsche Carrera GT and the Lamborghini Gallardo. Although most of it’s competitors will be mid or rear engined, this Lexus has it’s powerplant at the front. But it will be rear wheel drive. The production car is already going through testing at Germany’s Nurburgring circuit, and the car is expected to be launched in 2007.
Here are some real spyshots of the Audi R8 supercar being test driven on the road.
The Audi R8 is based on the Lamborghini Gallardo platform and is rumoured to feature a 4.2 liter V8 FSI and a 5.2 liter V10 FSI. There is also news that a turbodiesel variant might be offered. Click here to read the rest of 2007 Audi R8 Spyshots
Here are the latest spy images for the Proton Satria Replacement Model or Proton SRM24 which have been in testing phases for quite some time already. These photos were taken while the Proton SRM was parked in a parking lot, with it’s driver nowhere to be found. Because of that the photographer managed to get shots of the interior. Spyshots are after the jump!

Here are spyshots sent in by reader pycazu of the new small CBU (fully-imported) car Toyota is bringing in. They were taken on the Kesas highway. One glance and you can confirm that it is the hatchback version of the Toyota Yaris. They are already being loaded up on trailers perhaps to be sent to showrooms or storage yards, I’m not sure. This probably means it will be launched really soon here. Price range would likely be in the range of RM90-110K which brings it into direct competition with the Honda Jazz. Update: The Toyota Yaris has been launched in Malaysia. More details here. Spyshots after the jump!

A reader sent this in to me, another frontal spyshot of the 2006 Honda Civic taken in Malacca over the weekend. Did not manage to get any shots of the interior, but it’s safe to say that we are getting the high-tech flashy 2-tiered dashboard with the digital speedometer on the top tier and nice blue RPM meter on the bottom tier because the photographer managed to see it in action inside the car.
I was pretty worried that Honda would deem us not good enough for a nice interior. Kind of how Perodua downgraded the Toyota Passo’s interior with the Perodua Myvi.
