Another track video for fans of in-car camera recordings from fast cars on tracks. This BMW E30 was just minding it’s own business on the Nurburgring, until a yellow Porsche Carrera GT passes it. The E30 decides to give chase… why? Because it can I suppose. The Carrera GT obviously has more power than the E30, however it looks to me that the E30 has the better driver. Video after jump.

Another one of those crazy promotional stunts – a Spyker F1 car goes head to head against an F16 Fighter Jet. This little 1,000 meter drag race was held at the Volkel Air Force Base. In the F1 car’s driver’s seat is Spyker driver Christian Albers, while piloting the F16 is Captain Ralph Aarts.

The Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 is a track monster sporting a 6.5 litre V12 that like it’s namesake has 640 horsepower at 8,000rpm, and 660Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. All that power is put through all four wheels using an all-wheel drive system and a 6-speed manual gearbox, with an optional 6-speed e-gear automatic gearbox. Check out this recording of someone getting a taxi ride around the track in an LP640 belonging to Valentino Balboni, Lamborghini’s chief test driver.

A reader sent in this link to a video on Youtube, upon checking it out I found that it’s a trailer for a locally produced movie on drifting! The movie is called Impak Maksima, and it features classic drift cars like the AE86, complete with Fast & Furious style glowing neon lights under the car! It also features Malaysian drift personality Tengku Djan and his Nissan-powered Proton Waja rear wheel drive. As usual, I’ve hosted it locally so you can enjoy faster viewing speeds. For a 1.6 litre Chinese-made sedan to keep up with a Ferrari F430 on the track could only mean there is some huge difference between driving ability of the two drivers biased to the driver of the Chery, but let’s just have a look at this video anyway.
This is the best spy video of Nissan’s upcoming spiritual successor to the Skyline GT-R yet. The Nissan GT-R in this video was captured doing some really intensive high speed laps at the Nurburgring track, and is seen tailed by a Porsche 911, which means Nissan’s power and handling performance targets should be similiar to the 911 as a competitor.
