Like most of you already know, the new E92 BMW M3 was not the first BMW M3 powered by a V8 engine, but it is actually the first mass-produced M3 with a V8 engine. A V8-powered M3 existing in the past in a very limited 10-unit run that costed 250,000 Euros a piece back in 2001, probably worth more now as with all collector cars. That car was the E46 BMW M3 GTR. Here is the advertisement clip for Volkswagen’s latest addition to the R-family. Joining the Golf R32 is the Volkswagen Passat R36, with 4MOTION all-wheel drive, a 6-speed DSG twin clutch gearbox and a 3.6 litre high compression direct injection V6 making 300 horsepower. The Passat R36 goes from 0-100km/h in 5.6 seconds for the sedan and 5.8 seconds for the heavier Variant stationwagon.

This aurally orgasmic advertisement for Shell V-Power was created to celebrate 60 years of collaboration between Shell and Ferrari in Formula 1. The advertisement shows generations of F1 cars running at high speeds through cities from Rome to Rio, and finally London. The advertisement looks like one of the most expensive TV commercials ever made, and took a month to shoot. Check out the video after the jump.

Richard Hammond, a clear fan of the Porsche Cayenne thanks to his romping in it through a rally track in the most powerful variant – the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. Of course, there’s no Turbo S for the facelift yet so this is the pre-facelift model. But then again, the old Turbo S makes 512hp, and the facelifted Turbo is pretty near that amount at 500 horses, so the facelifted Turbo S could end up making nearly 600hp.
