We’ve all been there before. Walk back to your car, only to see it completely blocked by a double-parked vehicle. If you’re lucky, the owner may be sitting nearby, keeping an eye out, ready to move the car. More often than not, though, you’ll be left stranded, honking away angrily.
This video above shows a forklift moving an illegally-parked Toyota Unser. It’s yet unclear why the vehicle had to be lifted away so forcefully, but if you’ve been in such a situation as above (as we’re sure you have), you’d have wished that this less-than-elegant solution was available to your then too.
Dear motorists, do be mindful of where you park your car. Always be considerate of those around you. Double-parking should never be your first option, especially if it’s for the sake of convenience rather than blunt necessity.
If you really, really have no other choice, then the least you can do is to stay around the area and keep a look out if the person you’re blocking needs to come out. Failing that, you may leave your contact number in your car, so others could call you if or when your vehicle needs to be moved. Do remember to keep your phone active, though.
