As part of its resurgence in the Malaysian market, Modenas has launched the 2017 Modenas Pulsar NS200 naked sports and RS200 full-fairing sports bike. Retailing at RM9,222 and RM11,342, including GST, for the NS200 and RS200 respectively, these quarter-litre class machines are a new direction for Modenas, in collaboration with manufacturing partner Baja Auto of India.
Both of Modenas’ new machines carry a single-cylinder, three-spark plug, liquid-cooled power plant that puts out 24.5 PS at 9,750 rpm, and 18.6 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. Fed by fuel injection, the RS200 puts out one horsepower more than its naked sports NS200 sibling.
Rolling on 17-inch wheels, the RS200 gets a 300 mm single brake disc in front, with a 230 mm unit at the back, and single-channel ABS is fitted, making it a first in Malaysia at this price point for a full-sized motorcycle. The NS200 gets a smaller 280 mm front disc, and no ABS. Fuel is carried in a 13-litre tank, and a standard telescopic fork holds up the front end, while a Nitrox monoshock props up the rear.
Colour options for the Modenas Pulsar NS200 are Red/Black and Black, while the RS200 comes in White/Blue and Black. Availability for the Pulsar NS200 and RS200 is from today at selected Modenas dealers and can be viewed at over 210 authorised Modenas dealers nationwide by this week.

Lucky India is giving a lease of life to Modenas. We need foreign talent and brain in Malaysia. Too much brain drain. All the best minds have left Malaysia.
Thank you India for helping us. Thank you China for bailing us out too
DRB owns Modenas too
That uncle in picture really admiring a nice back side.
That old uncle just literally stared at the girls butt!! Lolz
Bro Mohan, 200 cc is not quarter liter. Just for your info. BTW, good write up & beautiful Babes. Have a good weekend. Cheers
Merecik hawau!
Looks great. Hope it rides great and is durable. Congrats Modenas.
Mohan sir, is it true that the NS200 is less powerful than the RS200 because it lacks fuel injection? The official brochure from modenas claims both the RS and NS have fuel injection and have the same amount of output. I am confused to be honest. haha
Does the NS200 have fuel injection or not? The Indian variant doesn’t if I am not mistaken. Does the one Modenas is selling have fuel injection?
Very cheap with abs.. Please take note yamaha and honda!
beauty~~
what bikes would be comparable to these? mt09?
Huuuray…..good price and good looking bike!!!
If this street bike can reach a top speed pf 160k/h then most 250cc bikes can close shop immediately.
It’s a bloody 200cc single cylinder with max hp of 25hp
Even current twin cylinder 250cc are making hard time reaching and maintaining that speed and you think 200cc can?
Topkek pleb
Use this engine in a modernised 4-stroke Dinamik for RM7800 and the 150cc cupchais are part of the past…
Top speed for NS200 is 135km/ph ..
RS200 Top speed – 158Kmph
Hopefully this india base bike better than royal anfield, naza and all the shitty korean and china bike those have automatic engine leakage system and broken valve after some mileage. For those owner who haven’t see this automated system please check with our nearest dealer. Or just go to consumer tribunal u can win if u lucky.
agreed…naza blade pls close shop…
the full fairing looks weird the design. it is not as aggressive looking as the kawasaki 250 and Yamaha 250.
it looks kinda sedate like the honda 250R.
The styling of the RS200 is definitely influenced by Yamaha R1 of the recent years..which makes it quite a contemporary-looking bike. Good.
Is image rs20028 showing a man looking at the gurl’s butt?
Hey I would if I was in his shoes…tonggek…
curb or full injection can anyone confirm?
