Wednesday it is, and if you’re wondering which way the wind blows this week, fuel prices are all up again for the fourth week of May, continuing the rebound in prices from last week, following three consecutive weekly price drops.
From tomorrow, May 25, RON 95 petrol will be priced at RM2.12 per litre (up four sen from RM2.08 per litre last week), and RON 97 petrol goes to RM2.40 per litre (up four sen from RM2.36 per litre last week).
Meanwhile, Euro 2M diesel also climbs to RM2.03 per litre (up four sen from RM1.99), while Euro 5 diesel will be pegged at RM2.13 per litre (up four sen from RM2.09). These prices take effect from midnight until May 31, when the next adjustment of prices will be announced.
This will be the ninth weekly fuel pricing update since its implementation on March 30. Compared to March 2017 prices, which was before weekly pricing took effect, RON 95 is down by 18 sen, RON 97 by 20 sen, and diesel down by 17 sen.

Hoi! Minyak naik hoi!
Pipu gips Billions bailout Proton, gomen no gips petrol subsidi.
Bila naik dipersalahkan kerajaan. Bila turun kenapa tak puji kerajaan? Ada yg dah turun. Kangkung dulu naik sekarang ni dah turun. Minyak dulu tiga minggu turun minggu ni naik minggu esok lusa turun balik. Ada yg nak turun.
PDAM tak buat bising lagi? So far, whenever price goes higher, PDAM members make millions each. But when price goes down (which is rarely), PDAM members demand Government pay them compensation.
High time, all petrol lesen is open to all 30 million people in Malaysia. Don’t give it to a selected group like the AP permits. Give it to every deserving Malaysian who can afford to run a petrol station.
The PDAM are a bunch of greedy cry babies. If they cannot compete, open the lesen up to everyone in Malaysia
Btw, what happened to the supposedly price war by station operators?
Gomen said this would be healthy as some stations can sell below the official price.
What happened? PDAM so stingly, cannot even drop 1 sen for the rakyat but demand gomen to pay them billions in compensation when minyak goes down
Already know they will increase. I pump Full this afternoon so no queue. The petrol station pump reader read “rosak” So have to pay Cash.
The station are smarter than U think. They collect CASH hence don’t have 2 pay bank charges. Untung, Untung Untung. I wonder if Petrol dealer association will complain now?
Confirm election victory whether u increase price or else
errr….YB, can we ask a compensation for the price hike like PDAM did last time? Thanks YB
Average price for last week is 2.07, tomorrow will be 2.12.Every 1 liter we give government 5 cents..
