Renault Scenic family receive Initiale Paris versions

Renault has introduced Initiale Paris versions of its Scenic and Grand Scenic, which are currently available for other models like the Clio, Espace, Captur and Koleos. Based on the Intens trim level, both the Scenic and Grand Scenic benefit from various styling enhancements befitting the Initiale Paris branding.

For starters, there’s the exclusive, dark prune-hued metallic Amethyst Black exterior paint finish, paired with 20-inch alloy wheels. Other additions include a star-pattern grille, “Initiale Paris” branding beneath the Renault logo and LED fog lights with cornering function.

Moving inside, you’ll find “Initiale Paris” chrome door sill guards as well as a specific colour finish for the centre console. Buyers will get to choose from black or grey-patterned, full-grain Nappa leather upholstery, which is also applied on the gear lever and steering wheel.

The kit list also includes electrically-adjustable seats with heating and massaging functions, along with a Bose audio system, colour heads-up display and Easy Park Assist (part of the Intens trim level).

Engine options include a sole 1.2 litre Energy TCe 130 four-cylinder unit with 130 PS (128 hp) and 205 Nm, or two 1.6 litre diesel mills. For the latter, there’s the Energy dCi 130 (130 PS/128 hp and 320 Nm) and Energy dCi 160 (160 PS/158 hp and 360 Nm).

Only the most powerful diesel unit comes with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while lesser variants have to make do with a six-speed manual gearbox. Prices in France start from 33,200 euros (RM158,627), and go all the way up to 39,400 euros (RM188,250), before options.
