The 2017 Mazda 3 facelift range was launched in Malaysia earlier this year, bringing minor visual updates inside out and G-Vectoring Control. Prices start from RM110,804 for the base Sedan GL, going up to RM125,804 for the Sedan High you see here. The Hatchback tops the range at RM128,804.
All models keep the same 2.0 litre SkyActiv-G petrol engine with 162 hp at 6,000 rpm and 210 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The high-compression mill sends drive to the front wheels via a six-speed SkyActiv-Drive automatic transmission. Mazda’s idling stop (i-Stop) and drive select (Sport mode) systems are also present here.

This mazda 3 Cannot beat the civic in overall package. Wise man buys a civic.
Depends. I think ever since Honda Malaysia got owned by DRB, their quality control has gone down the drain. Just look at the LY Forum civic threads. A fukton of problems. Driveshaft leaking, aircon leaking until got flood, cvt grinding sound, display screen burn, head unit need to restart.
The Civic is good value for money if you don’t mind taking the possible chance that your car may need to be in service centre to replace this or that.
Safer to wait for Civic facelift in a few years time.
The problems u describe r component issues which is unrelated to DRB hicom which only assembles the car. Its honda itself that cost cut until so many problems came out.

If I wanted sedan I would have bought this car. It is even better if Bermaz had brought in the 2.5L variant. But I prefer an SUV nowadays.
Yes true .. is a driver car.. but pls learn from honda on overall package especially the space. Rear space really feel cramp and unpleasant feel for the passengers. Dont just design a car just for driver and ignore the passengers..

Hi Jonathan Lee, may I suggest that next time when you review a car while pointing at the headlamps, why not just switch on the headlamps first. I think its a good idea to let your viewers know exactly how it looks like at night . No , you dont have to do a car review at night, late evening at a shady spot or a covered parking lot will do too.
