Perodua Myvi Active rendered – Toyota Prius c cues

Perodua Myvi Active rendered – Toyota Prius c cues

Ever wondered what would happen if the Perodua Myvi adopted some of the styling cues from the newly-facelifted Toyota Prius c? Well, wonder no more, as such a curious-sounding thing now exists in the digital realm with these renders.

Dubbed the ‘Myvi Active’ by its creator, this “special edition” of the second-generation Myvi features elements from the Crossover variant of the Prius c. These include new headlights, bumpers, side skirts, wheel arch extensions and even the roof rails.

The end result is a much smaller upper grille than the original, with horizontal slats replacing the mesh in the lower grille. Elsewhere, the fog lamps are no longer present and the side plastic cladding gives the Myvi a more rugged look. Like what you see?

The Myvi was first introduced in May 2005, and just recently, Perodua managed to produce its one millionth unit of the popular model. So far, there has been no official word on when a replacement for the Myvi will be introduced, or if it will continue to be based on the Daihatsu Boon/Toyota Passo.

    • I agree. I think Malaysian has enough of the Myvi already. Perodua really need to crack their head to come out with a new thing to hit the market.

    Ah good.

This will allow the Myvi to go off-road properly since this car seems to love going off road after rain in the bend. :p

No need to look like Prius C. What Myvi needs is VSC. Currently got 1 million Myvi cars in Malaysia with no VSC.

Malaysian Government already said, if all cars had VSC, accidents and deaths can be reduced 45% in any given year.

So, it is better we hope for the Myvi to have VSC. VSC was made compulsory and legal for all cars in US and Europe 12 years ago. Until today our Myvi got no VSC.
