The Perodua Alza has been around since 2009, and have you ever wondered what a successor might look like? Well, these renders might give us some idea of just that, and it certainly appears to be quite striking.
As the current model is based on a Daihatsu model, specifically the Boon Luminas, the car in this render uses a Mira e:S as its base. The big change at the front involves the car’s headlights, which adopt a two-tier design akin to what you’ll see on the Citroen C4 Picasso.
Elsewhere, the Perodua logo replaces the Japanese brand’s, and you also get the current Alza’s side mirrors in place of the donor vehicle’s pair. The rear receives a total overhaul here, with a flatter tailgate and taillights that are flush with the rearmost pillars. The latter differs from the long, vertical units used in the current model.
You’ll also spot a shoulder line that escalates quickly towards the end, rising above the rear light, as well as blacked-out sections of the rear pillars to create a ‘floating roof’ look. Add in the Perodua and Alza badges, and it certainly looks quite convincing.
In Japan, the Mira e:S is powered by a 660 cc petrol engine with 49 PS and 57 Nm of torque. Paired with a CVT automatic, the car can be had in two- or all-wheel drive configurations. Safety kit includes autonomous emergency braking, collision warning function and automatic high beam, among others.
What are your thoughts of this Alza render? Sound off in the comments section below.

Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
Kura kura is faster than this…
(Like) Ertiga.
(Dislike) Alza
Does it come with full sized spare rear axles?
Its time they use their sister companies technology Toyota Prius C Hybrid engine that will make this Alza a true winner.
Safety kit includes autonomous emergency braking & collision warning. The Alza!
Funkier than the fugly Toyata Sienta.
Surely can sale well.. as long as it Perodua..
That glass panel at the back makes the car look top heavy and unbalanced from the back.
The current car uses a plastic strip to break up that mass.
Looks nice but Sound Insulation is the Big No-No in the Current Alza … Too much Road and Tyre Noise intruding into the Cabin which I think the Axia is better in this Department
if only it would look this good. this is soooo much better than p2’s design .
ugly as shit!
Next gen of Perodua Alza design looks more terrible than current Perodua Alza. Moreover, Perodua doesnt have any basicsafety features still wanted to have advanced safety features autonomous emergency braking, collision warning function and automatic high beam
I honestly believe when this model rolls out from the factory, the looks will not the same. Seriously, with the headlight, are you trying to be vellfire?
the cutting still looks the same…. just cosmetic changes. a no for me.
Hopefully the rear axle would be strong and won’t pop out for no good reason
Yucks!!!!
Very ugly. Copied from where?
Outside ok la.. inside very good.. but i cant see very obvious steering control switches are missing
Cantik
looks like the vehicles long and width does not change at all, put on a new font face, rear almost the same, just blackout the D pillar, extend the rear glass window down a bit….
pls make the vehicles longer, wider and at least drop in a Turbo and/or put in a Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) variant for customers to choose.
the “Econ” function must be in-build into the car system (like Honda BRV) rather than putting in a switch for “on” and “off” Econ function (don’t follow Toyota Sienta one).
Actually current alza is quite good looking for his segment. I think will be great if the powerplant can be more efficient and 6 speeds gearbox. On accessories 3rd row seat should have air-conditioning, HID light, more safety feature and more airbags.
At least Proton have more safety features than Perodua
N proton have many problem example..window, gearbox especially manual, steering is not power enough to rotate, and many more..i hve both proton n perodua..n im satisfied with perodua
Obviously you dun own p1
Boss, now trend SUV.
Another MPV that looks like a face lift ALZA is counter productive.
If P2 launch a 7 seater SUV, it’ll be as big a hit as current Alza.
Pls upgrade the Hydraulic PS to EPS.
Please render daihatsu sigra into perodua version
This should be the replacement for alza
Who did this? Nice job rendering… can’t wait for the actual Alza replacement
The design of the car will change, but i hope that Perodua brings all the safety nannies as standard from Japan for Malaysian. Not to mention that the newer Alza should be bigger in terms of the length and the width. Perodua could have done a seperate three chairs for the 2nd row like the one in Citroen or VW. More shoulder room for passengers. But if you add all of this, the cost would be quite higher but all od this depend whether Perodua want to do it or better, the people demand for it.
Please render honda or kia into perodua version
This should be the replacement for alza
I like this type of design..superb
Spare tayar masih pakai tayar basikal x?
