It’s Wednesday again, and it’s one that will be all that sweeter for motorists because for the second week in a row fuel prices are going down after reaching record levels in November.

From tomorrow, December 14, RON 95 will cost four sen less at RM2.25 per litre (down from RM2.29 per litre last week), while RON 97 will be down five sen at RM2.52 per litre (down from RM2.57).

Meanwhile, the price of Euro 2 diesel will be one sen lower at RM2.20 (down from RM2.21), and Euro 5 diesel – always higher by 10 sen over Euro 2M – at RM2.30 per litre. These prices take effect from 12.01am until December 20, when the next round of fuel prices will be announced.

This is the 38th weekly fuel pricing update since the system’s implementation on March 30. Compared to March 2017 prices, which was the last month before weekly pricing came into effect, RON 95 is down by five sen (from RM2.30 per litre) and RON 97 by eight sen (from RM2.60 per litre), while Euro 2M diesel is back to level (RM2.20 per litre).
