VIDEO: New Nissan X-Trail – Nissan Intelligent Mobility

As some of you may know, the new and improved 2019 Nissan X-Trail facelift now comes with Nissan Intelligent Mobility, featuring a raft of safety features, some of which are standard across all four models.

In the video, we dissect several key features such as Intelligent Forward Collision Warning with Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking (essentially AEB, or Autonomous Emergency Braking), Intelligent Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, as well as Intelligent Around View Monitor with Intelligent Object Detection.

The items listed above are usually found in premium or luxury vehicles, so it’s refreshing to see the X-Trail feature the full works, though it’s worth noting that only the 2.5 4WD and 2.0L Hybrid get the whole suite. If you’re keen on seeing how they work, be sure to watch the video above. Also, let us know what you think in the comments section below.

Xtronic Gearbox got so many issues. I rather buy other brands than this riskier brand

    • Since Proton X70 is from China, we cannot be sure about the quality yet. Better be safe and buy the X-Trail instead.

700,000 are on the road with no major recalls. Top quality is assured. Happy driving!

  • Spend Rm160,000 for all that features and suffer chronic gearbox and A/C failures or pay Rm123,000 for all that features on the X70? 25,000 Malaysians have made their choice.

  • Yeah apart from x-tronic cvt failure and AC failure, you need to forecast for possible steering lock sensor failure, BCM failure or even TCU, best part, ETCM does not cover sensor or ECU failure as part of their extended warranty programme… So why bother to consider any new offerings from ETCM..

You need to wait as new Forester with Eyesight suite only coming at middle of the year (if it comes on time, but this is by Tan Chong so who knows?)

Meanwhile for Mazda, there is no adaptive cruise control (they call it Mazda Radar Cruise Control, MRCC) in ANY of their cars (locally). BERMAZ? Got no guts?
