Intrigued by off-roading and would like to find out what it’s all about? Well, if you happen to be in Johor Bahru, you’ll be able to experience the thrill of off-roading first-hand at the Mitsubishi Triton 4×4 Adventure happening this weekend.
The event, which is organised by Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), is set to take place on November 23 and 24 (this Saturday and Sunday) at Linear Park, Desa Tebrau, from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm. Admission to the event is free.
Participants will be able to test drive the Mitsubishi Triton over a number of obstacle courses. There’s the Devil’s Angle, which will take the pick-up down a hill slope to understand the Hill Descent Control function on the vehicle. There’s also the chance to do the dirty in the Mud Pit and sample the Triton over a Log and Roll course.
Visitors to the event can also take part in the Mitsubishi Agility Challenge to test the handling of the Triton. To win, participants are required to complete a course involving slalom, sharp cornering and manoeuvre exercises as well as complete a parking challenge in a tight space within the shortest time. Points will be earned for every completion of a challenge, and winners stand to get RM700 in cash daily.
That’s not all. Visitors can test drive a Mitsubishi vehicle at the event and stand to win a daily grand prize of RM888 in cash as well as an iPhone 11, the winner of which will be announced on November 24. Additionally, the first 100 participants to test drive any Mitsubishi vehicle will receive a free Boba Tea drink from The Alley.
Customers who put a booking fee of RM300 for any new Mitsubishi vehicle at the event will receive an exclusive Ralliart tumbler, while those who book and register a new Triton VGT Adventure X, Triton VGT AT Premium and Triton VGT MT Premium can choose to go with an interest rate of up to 0.88% (only with Maybank or Public Bank) or a cash rebate. The promotion is valid until December 31, 2019.
