Alongside the new X253 Mercedes-Benz GLC, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia also introduced the facelifted C253 GLC Coupe, which is available in a sole GLC 300 AMG Line CKD variant. Pricing starts at RM419,888 on-the-road without insurance (up RM20k compared to the outgoing model), and includes a four-year/unlimited mileage warranty.
Styling updates that come with the facelift include a more angular grille that is flanked by slimmer, trapezoidal-shaped headlamps, while the rear gets GLE-inspired taillights with ring-shaped graphics within them.
As the AMG Line exterior is present here, a single-louvre diamond grille and A-wing-style front bumper are standard fitments, while the rear apron gets a more expressive diffuser element sandwiched between the dual exhausts tips.
The GLC Coupe also comes with Night Package, Multibeam LED system with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus and staggered 20-inch AMG five-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels. However, unlike its non-coupe siblings, it run on normal tyres rather than run-flats (there’s a tyre repair kit under the boot floor), and it sports a smaller front sunroof instead of a panoramic item.
Power comes from a new M264 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine with 258 PS (254 hp) and 370 Nm, which is mated to a nine-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission and a 4Matic all-wheel drive system. The top speed here is 240 km/h, while the zero to 100 km/h time is 6.3 seconds. A stiffer sports suspension is also fitted as standard.
Inside, you get an AMG Line interior, Nappa leather AMG steering wheel, leather upholstery (an upgrade over Artico leather on the non-coupe GLCs), paddle shifters, ambient lighting, triple-zone Thermotronic climate control, electrically-adjustable front seats with memory function, illuminated door sills, AMG floor mats, rear door sunshades and a new Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system that comes with the facelift.
The MBUX system is linked to a 10.25-inch touchscreen and Burmester sound system, and features a LTE module to power the Mercedes me connect services. It also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and powers a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster display.
Other standard features include Active Brake Assist (autonomous emergency braking or AEB), Blind Spot Assist, Active Parking Assist with Parktronic, Active Lane Keeping Assist, a 360-degree view camera, cruise control, Keyless-Go, Pre-Safe, Hands Free Access and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

Overpriced
Not overpriced when everything is going up.
Better buy x4 ,cheaper but less safety feature, but has better performance and styling.
Better buy Proton X80 2.0L turbo aka xingyue.
what a waste!
Still no ACC Distronic+. Shame
without tax this car is about 160k, blame greedy gov
Forceful design.. fat bullfrog as usual.
The same crap Mercedes comes up with every year, overpriced underspeced cars with out of own pocket service. It’s a wonder why people still buy Mercedes!
CBU or CKD?
I still get a chuckle when I remember certain PT writers in the past being adamant that facelifted Merc models will never get MBUX because “different architecture required to run the system” or “The A-Class’ Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) system won’t be fitted here, because that requires a different electrical architecture”.
The real gem was “the facelifted GLC likely won’t get the A-Class’ new Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) system.” LOL.
Overpriced compared to the X4 30i. The design is also older
