The 10th-generation Honda Civic facelift is a living example of the “if it ain’t broke” adage. Four years into its life, the facelifted C-segment sedan barely looks any different from the original car that debuted in 2016.
Running changes include a new front bumper, gloss black grille and larger 18-inch wheels (1.5 TC-P only), as well as minor trim and ergonomics improvement to the cabin. Also, the rear seatbacks can finally be folded, granting some much needed gains in the practicality department.
No mechanical changes have been made either, but it must be remembered that Honda engineers had extensively tuned the Civic FC before its Malaysian launch in 2016, because they acknowledged that Malaysians can be a very “demanding” bunch when it comes down to the nitty gritty.
It was off to a good start to begin with, but made slightly better with the midlife update and the availability of Honda Sensing. Find out what we think of the range-topping Civic 1.5 TC-P in our video review, or indulge yourself with a written version of it, here. So, what do you think of this Civic?

not a bad car at all. but the ppl that actually drive them ruin the whole scene.
What they do uncle? I’m young and driving beemer
you, are a good example. punks driving entry level big brand models like the bmw x1 and mercedes a200 and think they “made it”. but in truth all you are buying is a cheaply made car with a nice badge. german brands used to make cars overengineered befitting their status and logo. these days the selling point of a mercedes is a small renault engine with ambient lighting that changes colours.
How convenient that this c seg is now priced at the old accord entry level price. just a coincidence haha
The car would have been desirable it it wasn’t for all the road nuisance that plague our roads in this rice box..
This car is for the vely successful and many many accomplished Ah Beng. Or grown-up, mature Ah Beng.
The Powah of Dream
Haiyah … why so dull one the cabin design?
this is a very good car and i drive the pre-facelift. it’s awesome and power is always available. even with 17″ wheels, it still drives perfectly nice. this is the car to get and you will enjoy many years and miles of driving it without any complaints as this is the best you can get with your money.
That’s before x50 comes out
Seems like only the MI tyres are enticing.. rest are gimmicks.. 1.5T runs like a Lion having sore throat
