This car is gorgeous. Suitable for bachelors ut there or small family. I think it is recommended to buy. It has ABS system so put your name in the waiting list now. The colors are all beautiful. Can't wait to see them om on the road.

honestly, the quality of malaysian car is not that fantastic as compared to overseas cars. however, we should congratulate malaysia for being able to have their own automobile industry at the first place. manufacturing best quality car is years to come but they are coming into that direction. we can only manage to achieve the best if perodua/proton have the expertise in the field. designing is difficult and it is hard not to have influence from other existing cars. and malaysia have not has the technology to build their own engene(not sure) because lack of expertise. i bet in 10 years time we will see huge improvement in malaysian automobil industry. if u and me live long enough we will be able to see it. Peeodua Myvi is the stepping stone to what we want to see from a Malaysian car one day.
p/s : the designer has worked terribly hard for this car.

Im from perodua, involve in engine rnd. I experienced to test drive the car up to 220km/j, but the body can't stand it, so minor adjustment applied to match local govt spect. The engine is good huh…..

aku baru tau toyota avanza ngan kembara dvvt tu guna engine yg same ngan Myvi, 1.3 DOHC DVVT. Actually, aku tak brapa stuju la kalau org atas kata proton lagi better…setakat yg aku dengar org banyak komen pasal proton, especially Gen-2 yang amat low qualitynya…engin dah ok tapi diaorg cut cost kat interior…sayang sungguh nampak cam keta murah….Myvi setakat aku tgkmeang menarik..quality not bad walaupun org cakap tiru design, at least cantik..sekali tgk nampak cam Jazz…kalau tak dapek nak pakai jazz…Myvi pun kira ok la. Aku tau ramai tak pueh hati kat keta M'sia nih..bkn pa kita beli 1st class prize…dapat 3rd class product…benda2 remeh tak penah nak ubah..contoh power windows..memang dah jadi trade mark keta M'sia power window rosak…tak buleh ka ubah benda tu..tgk tech. keta lain..diaorg pakai apa sampai tak rosak2…tu ja yg org tak pueh hati..nama keta M'sia utk rakyat M'sia..at least buat la full swing..btul2 punya quality…last but not least…aku puji la Myvi..Produa..maintain quality korang jgn jadi cam Proton..kluar keta just nak untung ja…latest skali diaorang kluarkan 1.2 engin..gila…sapa nak beli..
Enjin: (K3-VE DOHC DVVT 1.3 model)kira power gak sebab max output dgn torque lebih kurang sama ngan wira 1.5 tapi wira berat sikit jadi ada kelebihan kalau diambil kira power/weight ratio – boleh bersaing ngan wira 1.5 & boleh sayurkan model proton 1.3 yg lain. lagi satu – enjin dia pakai drive chain, bukan timing belt jadi kuranggg sikit problem
Body : Cun, kena pulak bodykit dgn sport rim 15
Harga : agak mahal – patutnya 40K++ dahle – termasuk ABS dengan AirBag sebab ia adalah ciri keselamatan standard atau senang cakap ciri keselamatan wajib la..

It's a nice car I can say. All this while i have few p2 car which is kenari,kelisa and kembara. All of these models suffered from poorly designed air cond system. Juz tried the MyVi, the air cond are newe Denso system which is much better than the rest of the p2 car..
Although I'm a bit dissapointed with the interior- the plastic looks a bit cheap & there's no place for me to mount my 6" midrange speaker.. , I booked on for myself today (ebony black)… hehe..
The design is very appealing & the engine is the yummy part… 1.3 litre for a mini car like this..sure yields some good fuel comsuption and HP.. two thumbs up..
There's is one myVi avaiable at my area which has a sports rim and sports spring modded. It's looks damn nice … can't wait for its body kit to be released…
I never had any good luck with p1 products such as iswara & waja.. so even though the new TRM will be cheaper..i will still get this one.

I disagree with someone that insist of Malaysians have to support 100% made in Malaysia car. Probably they had been brain-washed by some controlled medias. I urge them to think rasionally. Who want to spend their hard earn money to buy something that expensive but not reliable because of made in Malaysia. Of cause, we have no choice due to some VIPs have control the situation in this country. We are only some money generators in their eyes. Since we still have some control of our own money, why not chose the best for ourself which we can affort. Blindly support our own country made stuffs will bring us to the end of the road. Stop all those 'Tak Apa' or 'Memang Macam Itu' attitude. We have the right to question for anything that we are paying for.
Myvi is a copy so what. If it is good, why not buying it? Why have to buy the recent launched, 100% Malaysian nasional car that will ask the driver stop at the road side and open the front bonnet?
Our unlimited forgiveness for our own irresponsibility will lead us to be categorized as third world country forever. Maybe 4th when our natural resource depleted.
Before nasional car manufactors need to change their attitude, we as consumers need to change ours first.

Nie tidak… kalau buatan luar negara buruk dan sehodoh macamana pun u all mesti kata, hebat, cayalah, nie baru di namakan keretelah…ntah ape ke bendenye lah nak puji2 sangat kete orang luar tuh… Memang aku tak nafikan kete luar nie kebanyakkanya hebat-hebat belaka. tapi…kete malaysia pun ada kelebihannya gak. Bagi aku sape yang tak berminat dengan kete Malaysia nie… hangpa beli ajelah kete luar negara tuh!!! Kan sonang…Duit ado beli ajolah kete mahal-mahal tu g pun u all mampu…Abih cerita…itupun kalau abis la, kalau tak abis cerita kerete terpaksa kena tarik coz tak mampu bayo lah plak…hehe…

i cannot hold myself from booking myvi today.its damn cute. like my girlfriend. i booked silver color but the saddest part is i need to wait until hari raya before i can burn the road with my newly born baby. believe me, i m EVO 5 owner. but, it still not make me happy, becos i always win in 'traffic light unofficial sprint test' with cheap wira converted to whatever evo engine and some old honda vtec 'celup'. no challenge. mybe its time to have fun with my new baby.
myvi is the nicest compact car that malaysia had produced.if to differentiate with others compact car from japan i think it s value for your money.perodua has been improved and hopefully they ll keep on rolling on next product.already booked a myvi and hopefully to get it soon b4 hari raya puasa!chiow
I changed my rim to 15" with 195/55 tire. The grip is better and more stable.
Aku taknaklah nak bagi komen banyak sangat tapi nak bagi contoh kat korang yang kuat kutuk2 kete negara sendiri. Di korea, rata-rata rakyatnya memilih kete buatan negara sendiri. Kalau ada yang beli kete luar, memang sah kene kutuk punye. Cuba tengok filem korea ngan prancis, takde pun kita nampak kete2 buatan negara lain. Semua guna kete diorang. Yang pasti kete2 buatan negara lain diorang jadikan kete orang jahat. Tak patriotik la korang ni. Cuba2lah fikirkan. Selamat Maju Jaya Malaysia.

aduh,dah beli myvi manual 6bulan lepas,still frust ngan gear yg x smooth mcm beli keta reject jer,penat tgn kiri kalu jln jammed…dah complain masa service pon camtu gak..engine not bad…tp tula..rasa nak tuko keta lain pulak….sepanjang 15 thn bawak keta,ni ler yg paling x puas hati..rasa bawa kancil pon x lenguh camnih..huhuhu
